There’s something truly magical about a spring wedding, especially at the enchanting Rushpool Hall in Saltburn. I had the pleasure of capturing the stunning Rushpool Hall Spring Wedding of Jessica and Carl on a beautifully sunny Friday, April 19th, 2024. This was my first collaboration with the talented Michael Wilkinson, and together, we worked seamlessly to encapsulate the vivacity and love of this special day.
The day began in the “getting ready” room at Rushpool Hall, where Jessica and her four bridesmaids, along with both mothers, were buzzing with excitement. Jessica’s hair was elegantly styled by Keep it Pinned, and her makeup flawlessly done by Vicky Hedley and Jasmine Flora Makeup. The anticipation was palpable, setting a joyous tone for the day. Jessica slipped into her breathtaking backless, plunge dress, which she described as making her feel beautifully youthful compared to others that made her feel older. Her look was complemented by Carl and his groomsmen, who looked dashing in cream suits paired with sage green ties and brown shoes.
As the clock struck 12:30 pm, the civil ceremony began. Carl, alongside his father and Jessica’s father, awaited at the altar. The moment Jessica walked down the aisle was unforgettable; Carl wiped a tear from his eye, visibly moved by the sight of his bride. This tender moment was one of many highlights of the Rushpool Hall Spring Wedding, and as a videographer, capturing such raw emotion was a profound reminder of why I cherish what I do.
Post-ceremony, the Rushpool Hall Spring Wedding shifted into high gear with a lively reception. Seven heartfelt speeches were delivered by Carl, the two maids of honor, the two best men, and Jessica’s parents, each punctuated by laughter and a few happy tears. The décor of the venue, while not the focal point of my coverage, complemented the overall vibe of the day, which was nothing short of a PARTY!
As the evening unfolded, the Rushpool Hall Spring Wedding turned into a vibrant celebration. Jessica and Carl shared their first dance to Jordan Rust’s cover of “God Blessed the Broken Road,” which perfectly captured the essence of their journey together. The atmosphere was electrified by the beats from Ibiza Project, ensuring the dance floor was never empty.
The floral arrangements by May Flowers were stunning, with “mess bombs” of white peonies and abundant greens creating a fresh, spring vibe throughout Rushpool Hall. These arrangements added a splash of natural beauty to the Rushpool Hall Spring Wedding, enhancing the already picturesque setting.
After the ceremony, Michael Wilkinson and I took the newlyweds for several intimate photo and video sessions around the stunning grounds of Rushpool Hall. These moments allowed the couple to soak in their day privately, and provided us with the opportunity to capture the newlyweds in beautifully candid shots amidst the backdrop of Rushpool Hall Spring Wedding.
